Na Space Cowboys, Absolute Power en The Bridge of Madison and
country in wezen Eastwood 4e score. Niehaus die veel Eastwood projecten van een filmscore voorzien had, was voor deze slechts conductor. Eastwoods 1e poging om iets naast Niehaus score te componeren was met Unforgiven, meteen ook hun beste samenwerking. Het thema van Mystic is met een piano en zijn violen simpel van aard maar redelijk effectief. Op cd komt zijn score stukken minder tot zijn recht, mede dankzij het teveel in herhaling vallen. Zijn zoon heeft ook nog 2 bijdrages. 3 sterren
