Ik als Boxen-freak ben ook hier weer erg over te spreken........

Geweldige verzameling van soul classics uit de 60ties en 70ties.......
Alle bekende namen en labels zijn hier op vertegen woordigd en deze box geeft dus een mooi beeld van de Soul uit deze periode......

Gelukkig niet alleen maar bekend werk, maar ook een paar onbekende / vergeten pareltjes zo als daar zijn : The Soul Surviviors - Expressway To Your Heart (later gecoverd door Margo Thunder en die versie vind ik zelf nog beter) The Capitols - Cool Jerk, Dyke & The Blazers - We Got More Soul en wat te denken van Young Hot Unlimited - Soulful Strut (instrumentaal nummer dat later heel bekend is geworden als Am I The Same Girl.......... Maar zo als gezegd voornamelijk bekend werk........

Zoek je een goede en degelijke Soul verzamel box die zich niet op een stroming / Label richt dan is dit een zeer goede........ Deze kan natuurlijk niet op tegen Beg Scream & Shout maar ja dat is dan ook wel de ultieme Soul Box........
