'Oh mijn god', zie ik sommigen al bijna denken. 'We hebben de lange nummers KO gehad, dus konden we op de korte nummers wachten'. Tja... toch lijkt het me een erg leuk idee om eens voor korte nummertjes tot 2 minuten o.i.d. een aparte KO te houden. Ik zou zeggen: alles tot die lengte mag, al moet het wel enigszins op eigen benen kunnen staan. Veel van zulke korte tracks staan natuurlijk in dienst van een album, maar het leuke is nou juist om die uit de context te rukken en afzonderlijk te beoordelen. Lijkt me leuk om tot een redelijk gevarieerd aanbod te komen, misschien maar met maximaal twee tracks per artiest. Dat kan makkelijk en voorkomt waslijsten aan Minutemen- en Captain Beefheartproducties

Leuk initiatief, en een stuk makkelijker om de nummers te beluisteren dan bij de lange nummers-KO, waar je je soms door nummers van 20 minuten of meer moest worstelen om te stemmen...

Twee is wel wat weinig, misschien vijf of zo nemen. Maar gelijk heb je, anders krijgen we hele albums als van die metalalbums met 100 nummers van elk 12 seconden

Ik vind twee helemaal niet zo weinig eigenlijk, bijna elke artiest heeft wel wat van die leuke intermezzotjes volgens mij ... We zien wel even hoe het loopt, lijkt me.

5 minuten is al veel te lang, 2 minuten is prima, evt 2:30. Ik denk gelijk aan Mano Negra - King Kong Five
