In mijn ogen sterkste plaat van Erasure ! Daarna ging het bergaf en zelfs van kwaad naar erger. Kon me er helemaal niet meer in vinden.
Met The Circus is The innocents voor mij hun beste werk. Enig minpunt is dat een overdaad Andy Bell stem wel gaat vervelen.
Toch staan hier klassiekers op als A little respect, ship of fools , chains of love...

A Little Respect, Ship of Fools en Chains of Love waren de singles van dit album. In Nederland kregen deze singels niet of nauwelijks aandacht. Jammer, want het zijn sterke popsongs. Ook de meeste andere nummers van dit album zijn prettig om naar te luisteren.
