Stuk voor stuk geniale nummers op deze verzamelaar. Met mijn favoriete nummer allertijden: Teasers, Pleasers and Feeling Freezers. De stijl is wat anders dan zijn recente EP's, het gaat hier vooral om wat ouder werk. Veel nummers zijn behoorlijk lo-fi, maar dat geeft het juist z'n charme. De nummers zijn best verschillend van elkaar in aanpak. Zo is P-box Ditty volledig gemaakt met alleen speelgoedinstrumenten en zorgt op Moonspells en Secrets of the Night een flinke dosis van echoes en effecten voor een mysterieuze sfeer. Meite U is a relatively unknown Dutch singer-songwriter.
His music is guitar-oriented, melodic and quirky. Meite U used to gig around in the northern parts of Holland until the end of the twentieth century, after which he
retreated and not much was heard from him for a long while. In June 2006, he started a music blog on which he publishes new songs regularly. After publishing many loose songs, Meite U has since July 2007 created a threesome of EP's. The latest of these, 'Before the Gates of Answer Flood', has perfected Meite U's striving for short songs and is a dreamy zap-service through a shortlived world of intricate songs.
Meite U's small fan base is looking forward to future developments.
