Alles, maar dan ook echt alles wat je qua hits van the Isley Brothers moet weten staan op deze 3 cd's. Heerlijke verzamelaar.

Afwassen, stofzuigen, ramen lappen, de was ophangen, kortom alle huishoudelijke klussen gaan gewoon beter met de Isley's als begeleiding. Echt mensen, swingend stofzuigen kan op It's Your Thing, Brother Brother of hun uitvoering van Steve Stills' Love The One Your With. Wat ik helaas wel mis op deze comp is hun uitvoering van Spill The Wine die Eric Burdon & War's origineel vierkant uit het water blaast ........ Maar ik moet verder, I Got Work To Do .........

De meest volledige compilatie van dit soultrio met vele klassiekers : "Shout" (vaak gecoverd o.a. door Lulu en the Trammps), "Twist and Shout" (beter bekend in de Beatles-versie), "This Old Heart of Mine", "It's Your Thing" ...
"Caravan of Love" werd een grote hit in de a capella versie van the Housemartins. Heerlijke verzamelaar, inderdaad!
