Deze CD heeft als bij-titel 'An introduction to Nirvana'.
In deze grote serie zitten veel interessante titels (o.a. van Wishbone Ash, 10cc, Nico, Nick Drake, etc.) en zijn een leuke kennismaking met al deze artiesten.
In 1992 verscheen bij Island ook al de compilatie 'Travelling on a cloud' die ook 14 tracks bevat. Behalve het ontbrekende 'Oh! what a performance' zijn op 'Forever changing' alle a kanten van de Island singles aanwezig.
De titel lijkt wel een knipoog naar het album 'Forever changes' van de groep Love.
'Trapeze', 'Satelite jockey', 'The show must go on', 'We can help you' en 'Oh! what a performance' zijn hier vervangen door 'I believe in magic', 'Lonely boy', 'In the countryyard of the stars', 'Take this hand' en 'Love suite'.
