Waar Sound Advice naar mijn mening af en toe nog wat te pop/dance-achtig was, gaan ze de laatste tijd heel erg duidelijk de house kant op. Eerder bleek dit al uit hun set op het Amsterdam Dance Festival, nu ook goed te horen op dit album. Het levert een prima mix op met twee uitstekende zelfgeproduceerde tracks (Chimes en vooral Treadstone). Minpunt vind ik wel dat de Shapeshifters nog steeds heel erg dol zijn op vocals, mag wat minder. Derde CD met 'nummers waar inspiratie voor Max en Simon uit voortkwam' is een leuke bonus, maar meer ook niet.
Al met al een prima stap in de goede richting. Nu wachten op een CD met eigen producties (onder het nieuwe label), want daar ligt toch duidelijk het sterkste punt van dit duo. Een nummer als Treadstone belooft in elk geval al veel goeds!
