Jay Electronica - Style Wars EP (2007)

Vergeten om hier iets bij te zetten, maar Jay Electronica vind ik qua onderwerpen, stemgeluid en flow een van de beste rappers op aarde. Het nummer Renaissance Man heeft dezelfde beat als Love Is... van Common (gemaakt door Dilla). Maar deze versie is echt 10 keer beter. De teksten liggen zooo diep en Jay kan onderwerpen als racisme als geen ander overbrengen. Ook het laatste nummer is zeer geniaal te noemen.

The Pledge is buitenaards goed, Jay die rapt over beats zonder drums(zoals Nas op Queens get the money, wat jay elec. ook geproduced heeft)

Ben niet heel erg onder de indruk maar het is opzich wel een goede EP.

Renaissance Man is meesterlijk. Ik ga hier maar eens achteraan.

Dit is een erg vette cd

Ik vind de versie van Common toch wel een paar niveaus hoger maar goed, het is maar net wat je in een nummer zoekt. Rennaisance Man is natuurlijk wel een erg dope nummer, daar niet van.

Waar staan de nummers Exhibit A, B en C op. Die zijn erg goed. En is er bekend wanneer deze gast met een album komt?

The Pledge is natuurlijk geweldig, maar die skits daartussen vind ik wel irritant worden. Heb liever gewoon een track 6 Min, bam.
