In 2006, David, along with is brother Nuno, had a project, a band, with David on the bass/synths/programming and Nuno on the drums. They were searching for a lead singer, and so through internet they met Billy, a vocal singer/guitar player. [uniform biography]
And now they have made their first EP called ‘First EP’ (it’s a kind of funny).
The first song, Roll, starts with dark sounds but because it’s up-tempo the song is already over before you know. The singer has an exceptional voice which gives an extra powerful and melodic bonus to every song.
One Day is a ballad, dark but beautiful. The pain is identifiable, a memory off the old and gone fantasies from years ago.
Picture picks up the up-tempo beat from the first song and gives your mood an energetic and lively boost. It’s a great dance song with a catchy chorus you will remember the next few days.
241 continues this trend of high quality and wonderful music and announces the last track of their EP, 16 Years in Hell. The title is dark and threatening and when you close your eyes you can see and feel the pain and bitterness of this song.
One special thing of this band is that they play very dark darkwave but because it’s up-tempo and they use a lot of electronics it’s much more danceable then you would expect. This is only their debut EP, 100 copies limited!, and probably they will reach a huge audience with their music so this will turn into a real collectors item.
Be quick, you will like it or you will like it a lot.
