Door de verzamelaar "Music from the North Country" en googlen, stuitte ik op deze tweeluik. Het bleek al snel lastig te zijn om deze en volume 2 te bemachtigen, maar via eBay toch gelukt. Album is lang in eigen beheer gehouden, maar na een aantal jaren in beperkte oplage uitgebracht.
Dit album bevat werkelijk de mooiste songs acoustisch uitgevoerd en de heren hebben er hoorbaar plezier in. Net als volume 2 geef ik deze de volle pond. Een ieder die Hollywood Town Hall heeft en eigenlijk ook wel 'iets lives' van deze gasten in huis wilt halen: koop deze en volume 2!!
Favorieten: Crowded in the Wings, Two hearts, Blue, Sister cry... ach eigenlijk alles

Live From The Women's Club is a live acoustic bootleg recording by the Jayhawks on April 26, 2002 at the Women's Club in Minneapolis, MN. Additionally, the CD contains two bonus tracks of demos for their 'Smile' album which was recorded in their rehearsal space.
