Unieke verzameling van (meestal) one-hit garage bandjes uit de Verenigde Staten in de jaren 60. The usual suspects als the Litter, the Shadows of Knight (slechts één nummer) en MC5 worden overgeslagen. Ondanks dat, heeft de plaat een opvallende pre-punk sfeer, waarvan sommige nummers niet anders dan enorme invloed gehad moeten hebben op latere bands. Faine Jade en Music Machine, twee bands die meer geproduceerd hebben dan de andere bands op deze verzameling, waren de grootste ontdekkingen voor mij. De beste nummers van Faine Jade zou je zo op een underground new wave verzameling kunnen zetten, en niemand zou het verschil horen met andere bands. Erg modern geluid.
