Als ik het goed heb is dit een score, niet van een film, maar van een balletvoorstelling.

infra, Max's new record on FatCat will be released on July 22nd. Based on his collaboration with Wayne Macgregor and Julian Opie for The Royal Ballet last year, the record expands on and develops the original material, reconfiguring it as an immersive listening experience in it's own right.
The Brighton Festival this year features the fifth collaboration between Max and renowned performance company Dreamthinkspeak. Following on from their acclaimed previous work, this new version of Chekov's late masterpiece "The Cherry Orchard" plays until May 23.
memoryhouse is now available once more on CD and 180gm vinyl on FatCat. Other current releases include 180gm vinyl versions of The Blue Notebooks, Songs From Before as well as 24 Postcards In Full Colour.
Waltz with Bashir is now available on DVD. Max was named European Composer 2008 at The European Film awards for his score, and was nominated for the Prix France Musique.
Max's recently completed film scores include Benedek Fliegauf's "Womb", Alex Gibney's "My trip to Al Qaeda", David Mackenzie's "The Last Word" and Gilles Paquet-Brenner's "Sarah's Key". Max's music can also be heard in Martin Scorsese's "Shutter Island".

Mooi(e) album/score van Richter; niks speciaals (of iets wat te niet verwachten van hem), maar wel 40 minuten mooie composities. Wel wat eentonig en dat radioruisje wat je vaak hoort hadden ze weg mogen laten (of verminderen), maar wel een 3,5* waard. Infra 5 is mi het mooiste nummer.

Heerlijk rustig, fijne plaat om even stil mee te staan tussen de hectiek van alledag.

Niks aan MJ toe te voegen... hij doet goed wat je ervan verwacht... maar weinig tot niets meer... totaal geen verrassende plaat... ik vind het radioruisje dan weer nog wel leuk

Plaat maakt een wat rommelig indruk. Blijft echter knap hoe Max Richter Ambient met klassieke muziek en soundscapes weet te combineren. Levert een partij prachtige albums op. Radioruisje gedurende deze plaat veroorzaakt het nerveuze karakter. Net overdone.

Ik kwam Journey 1 vanmorgen tegen. Het heeft meteen iets aantrekkelijks, maar inderdaad - dat ruisje. Alsof er op de achtergrond steeds iemand aan de knop van een oude fm-wekkerradio zit te draaien. Ik probeer me het nummer dan voor te stellen zonder dat, en vermoed dat het dan nog wat vaker op zou staan.
