Liefhebbers van Blind Willie Johnson zullen dit ook wel waarderen, denk ik. Het is vooral de hartverscheurende stem van Connie Williams waar ik van onder de indruk ben. Echte rauwe blues vind je niet heel veel op deze cd, het zijn vooral gospels en folk songs, op een gegeven moment wordt zelfs de accordeon tevoorschijn gehaald, maar al met al wel een onderhoudende cd.
