This is Funk dekt de lading niet helemaal,dit album had beter This Is Funky Soul kunnen heten.
Des al niet te min is het wel een erg goede verzameling van Funky Soul en hier en daar "echte' Funk.
Grote namen met over het algemeen net even de wat minder bekende nummers voor het "grote" publiek.
3CD's voor een zeer schappelijke prijs, ach je kan je hier geen buil aan vallen zo lang je maar niet in de veronderstelling bent dat dit "echte" Funk is.
