Het betreft een vrij traditioneel Iers! folkalbum en behoort tot het allerbeste wat dit jaar op dat gebied verschenen is. De dame beschikt over een schitterende stem.

Vanavond beluisterd via Bandcamp. Zeer mooi klinkend album en inderdaad een prachtige stem. Tot m'n verbazing las ik net dat ze niet Iers of Schots is maar uit Portland, Oregon komt. Verrassend.

Maar haar haarkleur verraadt volgens mij toch wel Ierse roots. Probeer ook haar live-ep te beluisteren, Live from empty sea studios, erg mooi. Eveneens nooi is Cuan. De overigen heb ik nog niet beluisterd.
