Het solo debuut van Mike Vennart (zange/gitarist Oceansize). Ben benieuwd welke kan hij is opgegaan.

Voor mij nu al het album van het jaar, ongeveer 10 luisterbeurten erop zitten en het album wordt alleen maar beter. Favorieten op het moment zijn toch wel Dont Forget the Joker, Duke Fame, Infatuate en de opener.

Oceansize was top dus benieuwd hoe dit zou klinken. Flinke tegenvaller.

Live DVD komt eraan:
Mike Vennart, former frontman of Oceansize and part of the electronic duo British Theatre (featuring former band mate Richard Ingram a.k.a. "Gambler") just made his new DVD/CD "Target: '15" available for pre-order. It will feature a 3 hours + DVD of live concert collection of every song performed in 2015, across footage of five different shows.
Mike Vennart is supported by his two former band mates Richard Ingram and Steve Durose. Oceansize enthusiasts will be pleased to see that the tracklist also features a handful of live performances from tracks by the aforementioned band.
Additionally, the included CD features the entire performance at Arctangent festival 2015 with both the Vennart and the British Theatre set.
The live material can be pre-ordered at Vennart — Vennart - shop.vennart.com and will be shipped in January 2017.
Vennart also released a little teaser - namely a live version of "Duke Fame".

Een heel aangenaam solo debuut van de voormalig zanger van Oceansize, Mike Vennart. Hij nam dit album samen met twee voormalig bandleden op, dus dat het als genoemde band klinkt is geen wonder. Iets minder explosieve uitspattingen misschien, maar dat mag de pret niet drukken.
Nieuw album komt er aan las ik, in september. Het gaat 'To Cure A Blizzard Upon A Plastic Sea' heten.
