De titel dekt bepaald niet de lading. Deze box bevat bepaald niet alleen disco, maar ook soul en funk en dan ook nog eens uit de periode van ruwweg 1975-1985. Daardoor hoor je meer klassieke soul & funk nummers, meer pure disco tot elektronische disco uit de jaren '80. De muziek komt ook van heel verschillende labels, zoals bijvoorbeeld Salsoul, Motown en P.I.R., maar er staat ook een geweldig underground nummer op als There but for the Grace of God van Machine. Natuurlijk vind je wel een paar obligate songs, maar dat valt eigenlijk reuze mee. Misschien ook omdat het volume 2 is? In ieder geval is dit een prima samengestelde verzamelaar, zeker een aanrader.
