Pure power metal zoals alleen Italianen dat kunnen: melodisch, folky, catchy, maar nog wel vuig, hard, en echt metal, om maar even een contrast te schilderen met Noord-Europese bands als Beast in Black, Sonata Arctica, of Avantasia, hoewel het daar toch zeker wel op lijkt bij tijd en wijlen. Toch krijg ik van deze zanger en deze gitaristen een puurder metalgevoel, en dat bevalt me wel. Waar ze de koek vandaan hebben, nou, wellicht Rhapsody of Fire, of Derdian. Landgenoten, dat sowieso. Sterk album, met vooral 'Invoking the Woodland Spirit' als absolute oorwurm, maar alles mag er wezen.
