Het beste album van 2019 staat eindelijk ook op deze site

Wat een trip is dit! Door middel van hergebruik van de producties op Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides heeft SOPHIE een compleet nieuw en ander soort album gemaakt. Een (soms keihard) technoalbum met hier en daar ook wat ruimte voor ambient. Maar buiten dat het conceptueel vrij briljant is om je album compleet te hervormen naar een hele andere luisterervaring, is het met name de uitvoering waardoor dit voor mij het beste album in jaren is. De manier waarop het in elkaar gevlochten is, de opbouw van het geheel, ik heb het geen enkele DJ ooit beter horen doen.
