Aria heeft hier een goede keuze gemaakt door de NWOBHM-sound los te laten (wat ze op Baptism… ook al een beetje deden). Op Armageddon maken ze heerlijke no nonsense powermetal in het straatje van Hammerfall en Helloween, en het is nog goed ook nog! De zang is nog steeds niet zo krachtig als op de oudere platen, maar dat stoort me nu veel minder. Dit is met stip de beste Aria plaat tot nu toe!
