Bedankt voor diegene die deze prachtige lp-box heeft toegevoegf, aangezien ik er geen tijd voor had alles handmatig in te voeren.

Ik heb altijd al een zwak gehad voor Billy Joel, die ik leerde kennen dankzij Piano Man en vooral Goodnight Saigon in de Top 100 Allertijden.
Afgelopen jaren hier en daar een lp of cd aangeschaft, terwijl ik vroeger al de cassette van Greatest Hits I & II kapotdraaide.
Dus toen ik zag dat deze mooie box uitkwam met de eerste 6 van zijn 12 studio albums, plus zijn eerste live album én een niet eerder uitgebracht optreden, was ik verkocht. Inclusief een boekwerk met alle songteksten, linernotes bij elk album van Billy Joel zelf en veel foto's e.d.

180 euro (en een stukje duurder) is ook geen kattenpis, maar het zeker wel waard.
Grootste verrassing is overigens zijn debuutalbum. De hoes is niet aantrekkelijk, maar de muziek zeker wel.
