een heel fraai album. een compilatie op het veel geprezen "Putumayo" label. een label gespecialiseerd in het uitbrengen van wereld muziek, dat met grote regelmaat mooie verzamelaars op de markt zet. in dit geval:
"an uplifting musical journey through songs that inspired Linda Ronstadt. Curated by Linda and Putumayo to accompany her memoir "Feels Like Home", which is Linda's fascinating memoir of growing up in the culturally rich Sonoran borderlands of the Southwest".
de uit Tucson, Arizona afkomstige Linda Ronstadt trad voor het laatst op in 2009. zij kreeg in 2013 de diagnose van de ziekte van Parkinson. de documentaire film uit 2019 "The Sound Of My Voice", deed hier ontluisterend en ontroerend verslag van.
