44 euro inclusief verzenden, daarvoor kon ik hem ook niet laten liggen...

Inmiddels heb ik die van 44,44 ook maar gepakt (nog een hoop ellende gehad, pakket niet bezorgd enzo, maar wel goed gemaakt door Bol)

Ik moet nog even een beter vergelijkend waren onderzoek doen, maar het is me wel duidelijk dat de opnames zijn opgepoetst qua sound. De krakerige tape opnames blijven slecht, maar minder erg voor het gehoor vergeleken met de 1e uitgave.

Het is me niet duidelijk of the Free as a bird op deel 1 nu dezelfde opname is als op 4. Of dat ze deze hebben gehouden zoals op de 1e uitgave, Ik vermoed dat het 1e het geval is.

Anyway, leuke box zo, met een mooie upgrade, maar ik moet nog verder luisteren. De kartonnen slipcaes vind ik niet zo erg (ik lees veel commentaar) want er zit een mooi boxje omheen.
Voor mij wel een reden om de orignelen van de hand te gaan doen in ieder geval (of cadeau te geven aan een vriend die er ook van houdt)

Free as a Bird en Real Love op 1 en 2 zijn wel de oude mixen. Blij mee ook, want vooral Real Love is enigszins verpest in de nieuwe mix.

De prijs van een nieuwe enkele LP lag destijds rond de 20 gulden, dat is ruim 9 Euro.
Voor een nieuwe enkele LP durven ze nu rustig 30 Euro te vragen, dat is 66 gulden.
Overigens zijn veel nieuwe enkele Lp's zelfs gewoon schaamteloos 40 Euro, 88 gulden dus.

Een dubbelaar was destijds rond de 25 of 29 gulden zelfs.
Nu doen ze gewoon de prijs van een enkele LP keer 2 voor een dubbelaar. Over de boxsets ga ik het dan maar niet eens hebben (Bruce bijv.)


Ik heb alle prijzen van mijn gekochte platen bijgehouden en heb deze vergelijking, gebaseerd op de aanschaf van Sgt. Pepper en The White Album

In 1988 was de prijs voor deze (en de meeste nieuw uitgebrachte) enkele elpee Hfl 24,95 en van deze (en de meeste nieuw uitgebrachte) dubbel elpee Hfl 34,95
Minimumloon was Hfl 1988 per maand
Je kon dus ongeveer 80 enkele elpees of 57 dubbel elpees kopen van je salaris

Vandaag is de full price voor deze enkele elpee 35 euro en voor deze dubbel elpee 50 euro
Minimumloon is 2550 euro per maand
Je kunt nu dus ongeveer 73 enkele elpees of 51 dubbel elpees kopen van je salaris, ongeveer 9-10% minder dan in 1988.
