Zie mijn berichtje bij de voorganger Dave Swarbrick - Smiddyburn (1981) ... Flittin' komt voort uit dezelfde sessies als Smiddyburn en kan gezien worden als tweelingbroertje van dat album. Stiekum kwam op deze twee albums de voltallige klassieke line up van Fairport Convention - Full House (1970) weer even bij elkaar, na 10 jaar. Maar echt opgemerkt werd dat niet.
