Jawel, allemaal rock (veel blues based), allemaal Brits en allemaal Goddelijk! M'n nummer 1 is bovendien de blauwdruk van m'n all time favourite die in m'n 70's lijst bovenaan zal prijken.

Mijn lijst is de beste van allemaal!!!

Het is inderdaad bijna allemaal Brits, opvallend.

Jimi Hendrix is de enige niet-Brit in m'n lijst. Omdat hij desalniettemin in het Mekka van de betere rockmuziek heeft geresideerd (en er spijtig genoeg ook aan z'n einde kwam), en z'n bandmaten Noel Redding en Mitch Mitchell van 'The Experience' onvervalste Britten zijn, stel ik ondubbelzinnig dat m'n lijst 100% Brits is.

Britse (classic) rockmuziek is en blijft voor mij verheven en superieur t.o.v. welke andere muziek dan ook.

Niets opvallends aan!

Mweh, in duitsland werd aan het eind van de 60's minstens even intressante muziek gemaakt.

Wel wat opvallends aan, Amerika heeft toch aardig wat toffe muziek voortgebracht in die tijd.

Ik ben het eens met ClassicRocker gek genoeg, alléén was die verhouding in de jaren 60 nog wat meer fifty/ fifty voor mij, pas daarna is Britse rock de Amerikaanse links en rechts voorbij gaan stuiven!!

Brittania rules, UK über alles. Althans, voor mij dan. Ik ken uit het West Duitsland van de 60's alleen Can (best goed). En, oh ja, ook Nico (vrij slecht) is Duits. Dit valt voor mij volstrekt in het niet in vergelijking met de vele interessante muziek die onze bevrijders in die tijd maakten. Zie m'n lijst!

Ik ga sowieso al mijn eigen cd's luisteren om het nog eens op te frissen. Daarnaast zijn er nog een aantal albums die ik nog niet ken maar waarvan ik weet dat ik ze waarschijnlijk wel goed zal vinden. Ik hoop dat daar een aantal mooie 'ontdekkingen' tussen zullen zitten.

Ik zie trouwens dat je niet de enige bent. Bijvoorbeeld Don en Protonos hebben het ook zonder The geschreven. Let daar op, want zonder die toevoeging wordt hij als aparte nominatie gezien en dus NIET meegeteld.

Dan moet deze titel ook aangepast worden.

Artiest maakt niet uit, het gaat om de titel.

De titel is een stuk langer dan gewoon Arthur.

Dat maakt niet uit. Er is toch geen ander album dat met Arthur begint. Het gaat erom dat bij het op alfabetische volgorde zetten van alle albums, de albums met dezelfde titel bij elkaar moeten staan.

O, oké. Ik dacht dat het met herkennen van de albums te maken had

Hm. Ik wil dolgraag Pärson Sound - s/t opnemen, maar het in 1966-1968 opgenomen materiaal is pas in 2001 op plaat gezet. Gevalletje Can - Delay 1968 M.i. behorend tot de beste 60's-platen die niet in de 60's zijn uitgebracht

Tsja tis de vraag wat daarmee te doen. Numnumnum heeft ook de Michael Yonkers Band genomineerd, die is hier ook pas in 2003 uitgebracht, terwijl de opnames uit 1968. Van mij zouden dat soort albums erbij mogen, aangezien het essentieel gewoon 60's-albums zijn, maar de beslissing is aan Chevy...

Overigens merk ik nu dat ik Our Mother, the Mountain vergeten ben (ik heb vanuit mn stemmenlijst gewerkt, en om een of andere reden had ik er nog niet op gestemd ). Kan ik mijn lijst nog aanpassen?

De opnames dateren uit de jaren 30, en de albumrelease uit 1990. Wellicht bedoelde je "King of the Delta Blues Singers" uit 1961?

Blijft dan nog steeds een heikel punt, want eigenlijk is dit gewoon een verzamelaar (zo staat hij ook op MuMe gerangschikt) met oud materiaal van ver voor de 60's. Maar aan de andere kant gaat het in dit specifieke geval niet om een compilatie met reeds eerder uitgebracht materiaal.

Dus wat te doen met Robert?
