Chameleons staan toch niet in de afrekening?

Ik vind dat wel verwonderlijk, omdat ik dacht dat 'Second Skin' en 'Shallow Then Halo' wel tot de "überkleppers" zouden behoren......maar dat blijkt dus bepaald niet zo te zijn. Zelfs niet in het schaduwspel. Maar mss zit ik ook teveel in het post-punk spectrum van de new wave.

Ook verbaas ik me erover hoe goed The Specials het in de KO doen met 'Ghost Town'. Had ik echt niet gedacht. Hetzelfde geldt voor Theatre of Hate met 'Do You Believe in the Westworld'. Nummers die ik zelf slechts als middenmoters zie.

Verder vind ik het opmerkelijk dat Sad Lovers & Giants het zo goed doen met het nummer 'Far from the Sea'. Weliswaar een fraai nummer, maar de band heeft nmm betere gemaakt. Gunstige lotingen spelen daarbij ongetwijfeld ook een rol.

Ja, dat klopt natuurlijk. Al ken ik wel iemand die altijd trouw voor de Chameleons stemde.
En ik weet nog dat ik gisteren dacht. Gek, hij is de enige die zo trouw aan "zijn" groepen stemt.
Terwijl het vandaag plots in het stemgedrag van de anderen ook terug te vinden bleek.

Ik vond het ook vreemd ivm Cocteau Twins.
Maar zo zie je maar dat als mensen uit een ruimer aanbod kunnen kiezen
songs die lang meegaan in een KO toch niet altijd de meest geliefde tracks zijn.
En ook omgekeerd. Ik ben eens nieuwsgierig om te zien of er straks afvallers
uit de 1ste ronde het tot in de finale van het SCHADUWspel gaan schoppen.

Verrassing de hoge posities van Magazine

En komt er ook nog een "clash" tussen de KO finale en de schaduwfinale? Mss gaat er dan wel een nummer uit het schaduwspel met de winst vandoor. Het lijkt me iig interessant wat voor uitkomst je dan te zien krijgt.

Dat zijn alvast 4 hele mooie nummers!

Nee. Zie onderstaand bericht van Dazzler. Je kunt nog een lijst insturen.

De onderhandelingen voor die clash zijn volop aan de gang en het verloop krijgt vorm.

Morgen, voor ik op weekend vertrek, plaats ik de definitieve finalelijst van het schaduwspel.
Dat zijn dus 64 (1ste afrekening) + 32 (2de afrekening) + 32 (huidige afrekening) = 128 songs.
Daaruit kan iedereen gedurende het hele weekend zijn eigen top 20 rangschikking samenstellen
en in PM doorsturen naar mij. Maandagavond maak ik dan de ultieme top 32 bekend.

Als de KO en het SCHADUWspel gespeeld zijn, onthullen we het verloop van de clash.

Het eerste getal is het totale aantal punten.
De score staat ook op 0 voor alle songs die meer antistemmen dan stemmen hadden.
Het eerste getal na elke nummer is het aantal stemmen, het tweede het aantal antistemmen.

Ik wilde de volledige uitslag toch even plaatsen omdat hij soms erg frappant is.

DE FINALE

Hieronder een lijst met 128 verliezers uit de 5 rondes van het new wave KO spel.
Die 128 songs werden na veel wikken en wegen door een gemiddelde van 9 spelers
gekozen uit alle songs van de 1028 die gestart zijn in het new wave KO spel.
Met uitzondering van de 32 nummers die daar de finale haalden.

Nu spelen we echter de FINALE van het SCHADUWspel.
En dat gaat heel simpel. Stuur in PM naar dazzler je top 20 uit onderstaande lijst.
Dat wil zeggen dat je je lijst inderdaad moet rangschikken van nummer 1 tot nummer 20.

Je hebt tijd tot maandagavond 18.00u. Om 20.00u wordt het resultaat bekend gemaakt.
De uiteindelijke top 10 krijgt een eervolle presentatie in dit topic. De 32 beste songs
van de SCHADUWspel finale zullen het daarna opnemen tegen de 32 overblijvers
uit de new wave KO van zodra ook daar de finale zijn winnaar heeft opgeleverd.

* Er staan 3 songs in de lijst die ik heb heropgevist uit de laatste afrekening
omdat blijkt dat door moeilijk te vermijden fouten er een aantal overlappingen
in de lijst van 128 zaten waardoor er maar 125 nummers overbleven.

Dat betekent dat op 1028 - 32 = 996 nummers er 3 verliezers
door fouten van mij (waarvoor mijn excuzes) niet de kans hebben gehad
om aan te treden in dit SCHADUWspel. Ik heb altijd gevraagd om bij fouten
zo snel mogelijk te reageren en dat is ook een aantal keren gebeurd.
Behalve bij die drie ontbrekende nummers.
Hopelijk waren het jouw favorieten niet.

Heel veel puzzelplezier gewenst bij het opstellen van je persoonlijke top 20.
