Ik ga ook zoveel mogelijk proberen mee te spelen. Sinds kort ken ik ook haar laatste album, dus ik ben er klaar voor.

Nadat ik de grote eer had gekregen om de KO van de meest geweldige vrouw op aarde te mogen organiseren, voel ik me nu opnieuw vereerd; het is namelijk tijd voor de KO van de op één na meest geweldige vrouw! In ieder geval qua muzikanten dan. Joanna Newsom is een geliefd én gehaat artieste op deze site - maar ook daar buiten - met name vanwege haar kenmerkende stem.
Goed, Joanna Newsom heeft eigenlijk nog niet eens zo'n heel uitgebreid oeuvre. Gelukkig wordt die binnenkort uitgebreid met een vierde album, genaamd Divers. Over elf dagen komt dat album uit.
Inclusief gastoptredens en een vage bootleg (maar exclusief de drie bandjes/projecten The Pleased, Nervous Cop en Golden Shoulders én ook exclusief samplegebruik zoals op The Roots' Right On) kwam ik tot 48 nummers. Daarvan vond ik er van 22 dat ze hoe dan ook mee moesten doen. Dan blijven er nog tien plekken over om er een mooie KO van te maken. Voor die laatste tien plekken heb ik dan weer twintig nummers geselecteerd die het onderling mogen uitvechten. Oftewel, er komt eerst een kwalificatieronde (tien battles met elke keer twee nummers). Als daar tien winnaars uit zijn gekomen is het een reguliere KO met 32 nummers.
