Er staan hier toch wat minder lekkere, goede en/of fijne nummer 1 hits op als op de verzamelaar Vol. 1 uit 2001. Toch is zeker ruim de helft hiervan de moeite (meer dan) waard, dat dan weer wel. Op dit Vol. 2 staan net een paar meer draken en wat extra mindere nummers. Ook dit Volume 2 is nog steeds een beetje een ratjetoe aan stijlen. De verschillende gebruikte decennia en stijlen staan door elkaar, maar het luistert wat beter weg dan Vol. 1. Aan de andere kant zorgen al die verschillende muziekstijlen wel weer voor veel afwisseling.

Voorbeelden van prima nummer 1's op dit volume 2 zijn Roger Glover met Love Is All, We Belong to the Night van Ellen Foley, Gangsta's Paradise van Coolio, Nancy Sinatra met These Boots Are Made for Walkin', John Travolta en Olivia Newton-John met uit Grease: You're the One That I Want, I Won't Let You Down van Ph.D, Lola van the Kinks, De la Soul met Me Myself and I, Nazareth met Love Hurts, The Monkees en het fijne I'm a Believer, Oh, Pretty Woman van Roy Orbison, Onderweg van Abel, Radar Love in de lange versie (zoals het hoort), Shocking Blue met Never Marry a Railroad Man & Ain't Got No, I Got Life van Nina Simone. Er staat stiekem toch weer heel wat moois tussen deze 100 nummer 1 hits.
