"Galaxy was a band that stemmed from the north of the Netherlands, and existed from 1983 to 1997. The bandmembers started playing together at a very early age (Ard Offers was 11 when he joined his 2,5 year older brother in Galaxy in 1983). Through the years they released several demo tapes, a vinyl single (Rock ‘n’roller) and a EP-CD (Back Before the Storm). Although most of their releases were reviewed favorably by regional and national music press, it never came to a breakthrough. With their final lineup, formed in 1992 they recorded an album in 1997 that sadly was never released. But now, 25 years later Runaway Men (a title that the band actually came up with this year) will finally be released."
"David immediately thought he heard something worthwhile in Galaxy and wanted to do something to prevent the album from disappearing into oblivion. But… Where were the actual recordings…? Niels cleaned out his attic and found out he had to visit all former establishments of the Mastersound Studios to go through the entire Mastersound archive to rescue every last track of the Galaxy-recordings… At one moment we got really worried, but Hallelujah! Niels came through and with united forces we brought Runaway Men to life (again). Time nor effort was spared in the process of bringing you our musical child after 25 years of pregnancy… We are happy and delighted to hold this tangible proof of our existence in our hands and hearts so many years later. We hope you enjoy it!"
