Het is een leuk nummer maar voor hoe lang? Ik vind het nu een leuk nummer omdat ik erg enthausiast ben.

Ik vind hem ziek, alleen een minpunt die beat is beetje te druk, dat bekende commerciele deuntje/gezoem dat erdoorheen zit, dat snap ik niet echt die verkloot de beat nogal.

Ik vind hem ook ziek, ontzettend ziek. Die synths hadden wel weg mogen blijven eigenlijk, pas niet echt bij Rakim. Maar de rest is echt sterk. De teksten, daar moet ik een voor geven. En de flow, daarvoor moet ik een

Ik vind zelfs de synths vet.

Ik vind 't nummer keihard.. zowel rakim, als de beat..

Ik heb het niet zo op Jadakiss en Busta Rhymes. En waarom kiest Rakim, Akon uit als gast-artiest. Hier hebben we op moeten wachten.

Zit nu dat Holy Are You te luisteren: Prima productie. Echt prima. Vind Rakim gewoon echt saai flowen. Hij kan het niet meer. Op 18th Letter was het al minder, op The Master nog minder en nu nagenoeg niks meer. Hij grijpt geen moment de aandacht. Teksten steken nog prima in elkaar, maar dat merk je pas als je er expres op gaat letten. Als het gewoon opstaat gaat alles wat ie zegt langs je heen. Saai, saai, saai.

En dat constateer je na één nummer? Zijn flow is gewoon on point, op The 18th Letter is het zelfs geniaal. Zijn beste album.

Maarre, gastartiest Akon? OMG, Rakim wat ben je aan het doen?

Mwah, ik ben het wel eens met Niek - of hij het niet meer kan vind ik wat voorbarig om te zeggen. Die teksten zitten uitstekend in elkaar, maar door zijn - wat saaie - flow gaat het een beetje aan me voorbij.

De flow van Rakim op The Watcher 2 was zo'n zeldzaam moment waarop hij liet horen wie de flow pionierde.

Lees is gewoon door. Ik baseer dat op alles dat ie uitbracht sinds 1997.

Ik heb mensen veel betere dingen horen doen met Premo-producties..

Edit: zoals op Guess Who's Back. Hij begint fantastisch. Idd perfecte flow. Maar naarmate de track vorderd verliest ie hem. Halverwege tweede couplet is er bijna niets meer van over.

Breezahhhh .

Natuurlijk is Rakim wat minder dan vroeger, maar hij flowt nog steeds volgens het boekje en altijd on-beat (had ik al eerder ergens gezegd).

Nja, vind weinig saaier dan een rapper die rapt volgens het boekje en nooit om de beat flowt maar er alleen maar op. Hij varieerde vroeger nog qua tempo, klankrijm was beter, intonatie... Enfin, vind hem gewoon weinig meer aan.

En: scherp gespot die 'is', maar wat bedoel je met Breezahhh?

Oh haha nee, dat was een al vantevoren mislukte poging om grappig te doen (gezien o.a. Breezah-figuren vrijwel altijd ''eens'' als ''is'' spellen; irritatie-veroorzaker bij mij). Maar jij komt er mee weg zal het vroegah zelf ook nog wel eens hebben gedaan.

Ohh, de [email protected] van deze wereld, bedoel je. Nou, t (mag dit wel, die 't'? ) doet me goed dat je me daar niet onder schaart.
