Debuutlabum Noel Gallagher komt in oktober

High Flying Birds, zo gaat het soloalbum heten van Noel Gallagher. De voormalige gitarist van Oasis onthulde de titel van zijn eerste album op een haastig bij elkaar geroepen persconferentie in Londen. De tien songs zijn opgenomen in Londe en Los Angeles en geproduceerd door Gallagher en David Sardy, de producer van Wolfmother en een aantal Oasis albums. Noel’s High Flying Birds album verschijnt op 17 oktober

Noel also revealed in the press conference that he has completed a second album which is a continuation of his collaboration with Amorphous Androgynous. This as-yet untitled album will be released in 2012.
