Ouwelullenmuziek kan ook mooi zijn

Ik heb trouwens sinds een weekje Arrow ingesteld als standaardzender op mijn stereootje. De ontvangst van Kink FM is niet al te best en ik was Last FM al vrij snel zat. Dus ik hoor dit soort juweeltjes nu ook eens (langskomen).

Het vervelende aan Arrow vind ik dat er vrijwel nooit (alleen bij programma's als Wintertijd) word verteld welk nummer ze draaien. Soms hoor ik een nummer en kan ik er maar niet achterkomen wat het is terwijl ik wel graag wil weten. Maar nu heb ik op het Forum van Arrow een topic ontdekt waarin door forumusers word verteld welke nummers er gedraaid worden. Zo kwam ik er uiteindelijk achter dat dat arrowdeuntje eigenlijk Albatross van Fleetwood Mac was. En zie nu : hij staat in de top 100

Een ander minpunt is dat Arrow al jarenlang dezelfde platen draait. Maar heel af en toe worden er nieuwe 'toegevoegd' zoals "Yellow" of "Politik" De playlist bij Arrow moet uitgebreider!

Hallelujah. Alles wat ze nu in de playlist hebben heb ik nu wel ontdekt. Tijd voor nieuwe songs
Schandalig hoe weinig ze draaien van bijvoorbeeld The Moody Blues en Uriah Heep. Ik hoor de laatste tijd trouwens veel te veel Toto En voordat ik de user TOTO weer op mijn dak krijg, het gaat hier om constant dezelfde nummers (Rosanna, Pamela, Africa, Stop Loving You ..).

Dat is de reden waarom ik al jaren geen arrow meer luister, altijd dezelfde nummers, laatst zat ik bij mijn zwager, die heefd het wel altijd aan staan en ja hoor weer de zelfde nummers.

Leuke lijst, maar sommige nummers zijn zo enorm doodgedraaid dat als je ze nu hoort, je al na een paar seconden afdwaalt.

Desalnietemin valt er nog gemakkelijk een mooie top 10 van samen te stellen.

Beetje CCR-fan

Ik vermoedde al zoiets. Ik vind het wel mooi dat het een lijst is van klassiekers die toch duidelijk persoonlijk is gekozen. Het is eindeloos veel makkelijker om een persoonlijk gekleurde lijst te maken in een extreem genre als ware je de autoriteit. Met klassiekers die iedereen kent (ik kende er maar een handvol niet) is kritiek snel op tafel.

Mijn favoriete CCR's zijn Bad Moon Rising en Have you ever seen the rain (beide niet in de lijst!).

Ja ik kon natuurlijk een aantal van die wat minder bekende songs niet in de lijst zetten maar dan zou de lijst ten eerste niet meer persoonlijk zijn en ten tweede is er natuurlijk nog een beetje hoop dat mensen die songs gaan beluisteren en die misschien zelfs wel goed vinden.
