Sinds 2006 kiezen de users op dit forum in december hun album van het Jaar. In januari, poste ik zodat de jaren 2006-2009 nog resteren.

Het overzicht hieronder is samengesteld door de jaarlijsten van die jaren te combineren.

Om tot het gepresenteerde totlaaloverzicht te komen combineerde ik de verschillende jaarlijsten, waarbij ik het totaal aantal stemmen op een album deelde door het totaal aantal stemmen dat in het jaar waarin het album verscheen, werd uitgebracht. Dat leverde een percentage op dat ik als indelingscriterium gebruikte.

De Jaarlijst voor 2006 vind je hier. In die lijst stemden 122 users voor het #1 album van dat jaar Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' van The Arctic Monkeys. Die 122 users waren goed voor in totaal 794 punten (#1 = 10 ptn .... #10 =1 ptn).

Als je alle stemmen bij elkaar optelt - van die 794 van The Arctic Monkeys t/m de 47 voor de #100 van The LastProphets - dan levert dat een totaal op van 14.232 punten. Vervolgens berekende ik het percentage (794/14.232 * 100% = 5.58%).

Als je die berekening doet voor de lijsten van 2006 t/m 2009 dan levert dat het gepresenteerde overzicht op. Waarbij ik ervan ben uitgegaan dat het percentage het enige 'objectieve' criterium is waarmee je de verschillende lijsten (vanwege de variaties in het aantal stemmers) onderling kunt vergelijken.

Wie de twee overzichten met elkaar combineert krijgt een aardig beeld van de voorkeuren van de users van dit forum.
