Geen nieuwe binnenkomers deze week. Dus eens aandacht voor opvallend duo.
Aan de ene kant de hiphoppioniers van The Roots, aan de andere kant soulgenie John Legend.
Na goed samenwerken op het laatste the Roots album hebben ze zelfs besloten een geheel album samen op te nemen. Komt uit in september en gaat 'Wake Up!' heetten.

Reijersen, wanneer kunnen we I Need a Dollar in je top 10 verwachten van Aloe Blacc?

Dwele, één van mijn favoriete nu-soulzangers, is terug met een nieuw album. Eerlijkheid dient mij te zeggen dat het wat tegen viel, maar de soepele stem van Dwele kan mij altijd wel boeien. Het beste nummer van het album is 'My People', de hoogste nieuwe binnenkomer. Muzikaal en vocaal een prachtsong.
