Als collectief heten ze The Foreign Exchange en maken ze R&B-achtige soul op muzikaal uitstekende basis. Een leuk nieuw album, 'Authencity', waarvan de opener nieuw in mijn lijst binnenkomt.

Onorigineel, irritant, commercieel, platvloers, maar o zo catchy. Niet echt een nummer dat snel in mijn top15 zal staan, dat Barbra Streisand. Maar deze funky housetrack blijft zo vet hard in mijn hoofd zitten dat ik het toch een kansje geef.
En we weten natuurlijk allemaal dat het nummer voor 80% uit een oud nummer van Boney M. bestaat.

Het is al even geleden dat R. Kelly een goede plaat heeft gemaakt. Maar met zijn in 2010 te verschijnen album 'Love Letter' lijkt het dan te lukken. Het gevoel is dat het een vintage geluid heeft.
