Pet shop Boys,A-ha,george michael,Duran Duran en Depeche mode zijn muzikale helden uit de jaren,80 die helaas net niet goed genoeg waren voor deze lijst. Verder waren Lisa stansfield en Mariah carey fantastische zangers in die tijd. En verder nog wat Rap Artiesten die er muzikaal er boven uitstegen. Want wat de traditionele pop en rock muziek beterft was het niet best in die tijd.
Front242, a split second, poesie noire, neon judfgement, skinny puppy en frontline assembly hadden ook nog wel aardige platen,maar verder lag de electro-dance ook wat creativiteit betreft toendertijd even op hun gat. Nou ja......
