Af en toe kan ik dit soort muziek ook erg waarderen, dus dit kan een handig tiptopic voor me worden. De meeste bands ken ik van naam, maar van veel bands heb ik geen muziek (of weinig) gehoord.

Ik hoorde net één nummer van Envy en dat vond ik alvast erg mooi.

Ah, tof! Envy is een fantastische band en zeker één van de beste dingen in het genre. Hun All the Footprints... is hun beste plaat, dus die zou ik dan zeker aanraden. Ligt er overigens wel een beetje aan welk nummer je hebt gehoord overigens, want hun laatste plaat (Insomniac Doze) is een stuk rustiger dan hun eerder werk.

Het nummer dat luie mensen met dit warme weer het eerst gevonden hebben: degene die op hun myspace staat dus.

A Far-off Reason heet het en volgens Mume komt het van een split uit 2003.

Ha, daar heb je meteen hun meest geniale nummer ooit te pakken. Erg mooi is het inderdaad, en mijn persoonlijke favoriet! Dan kun je met een gerust hart aan All the Footprints of A Dead Sinking Story beginnen.

Ik kreeg spontaan zin een top zoveel samen te stellen van dit mooie genre (zeker nu er aankomende woensdag, als het goed is, een artikel van mijn hand over emo op KindaMuzik zal verschijnen).
