Rectificatie: Na controle in het Hitdossier blijkt dat Leningrad van Billy Joel toch nog een hogere positie heeft bereikt, hij hoort dus niet in het rijtje thuis. Hetzelfde probleem hebben we met "Dear Jessie" van Madonna gehad, dat is ook het nadeel van nummers uit december 1989, daarvan is de uiteindelijke notering niet in het Hitdossier uitgave 1990 opgenomen.

Gaat je hitdossier maar tot 1989, RobbyT? Inderdaad, er staan geen nummers bij na 1989. Eigenlijk niet zo erg, vanaf de jaren '90 stelde de hitparade niet veel meer voor.

Ik vind het wel jammer, want ik begon juist in '89 naar muziek te luisteren... Dat verhaaltje van 'vroeger was alles beter' kennen we nu wel.

Begrijp me niet verkeerd, ik heb deze lijst niet samengesteld met het idee dat muziek in de jaren 90 slecht zou zijn. Het is puur omdat er in de nieuwere (en oudere) uitgaven van het Hitdossier geen lijsten staan met puntentellingen. Het enige hitdossier dat dat wel heeft is de uitgave 1990. Op die manier is het relatief makkelijk om na te gaan welke nummers een bepaalde positie hebben bereikt. Het is geen doen om dat voor de nummers van na 1989 na te gaan zoeken, dat is "speld in een hooiberg werk". Vandaar. Niets tegen de jaren-90 muziek dus.

Op deze site vind je alle Veronica top-40 jaargangen van 1965 tot 2007 met voor elk nummer de hoogste positie.

Ik weet het, ik had ook al in een eerder bericht gelezen dat het boek waar je je op baseert tot '89 gaat. Ik vind jouw topics hardstikke leuk, alleen is het jammer dat de muziek die ik ken er weinig in voorkomt. Mijn opmerking was meer gericht op Luc, die om de haverklap stelt dat de populaire muziek van de laatste jaren niet meer voorstelt. Dat is leuk en aardig, maar op een gegeven moment wordt het een beetje vervelend. Daarbij is goede en slechte (populaire) muziek iets van alle jaren. Mensen houden van de muziek waarmee ze opgroeien en in Luc's geval is dat duidelijk niet de jaren '90 en '00, maar dat betekent dan niet dat dat allemaal maar meteen rotzooi is... Of in ieder geval geen ergere rotzooi dan de rotzooi uit eerdere decennia.

Sorry dat ik een beetje cru was.
Natuurlijk staan er ook prima dingen in de huidige hitparade (toch dit jaar, zo heb ik kennis gemaakt met bv. Duffy en Amy MacDonald), maar globaal vind ik de hitparadepop met de tijd minder interessant en vergankelijker worden, goede muziek moet ik steeds meer buiten de hitlijsten gaan zoeken.
Overigens vind ik het initiatief van RobbyT wel zeer goed , 'kleinere' hits vind ik absoluut niet minder dan de nummer-1-hits, wat jouw lijstje een bewijs van is.

Bedankt LucM, ik zal de lijsten later gaan gebruiken voor "Het beste uit de Top 20, maar geen Top 10 hit" en dan per jaar.
