Beatles voor het gemak maar niet meegenomen, want niet van '74 (ongetwijfeld een heruitgave). En Mike Oldfield ook niet, want op de een of andere manier 'werkt' dat nummer niet als een single, vind ik. Trouwens nooit geweten dat het op 45 toeren is uitgebracht.

Het verwarrende van Tubular bells vond ik altijd dat er op sommige verzamel-CD's verschillende gedeelten van dit nummer te vinden waren, namelijk het begin van Part 1 en het einde van Part 1.

Hier is in ieder geval mijn Top 10. Heb verrassenderwijs nog een hoop moeten schrappen! Ik ben trouwens niet tevreden met tips totaan de P, want dan sneuvelen er enkele zeer goede nummers. De lijsten op http://members.lycos.nl/theo2003/Tipparade/tipparadeindex.htm zijn trouwens vaak niet compleet. Zo mistte bv. bij dit jaar Dusty Springfield tussen de D's.

Ik vind het Dusty Springfield-nummer té goed om buiten de Top 10 te laten.

Ik heb bij Mike Oldfield trouwens hetzelfde probleem. De single is eigenlijk alleen het intro en ik vind dat het album als een geheel werkt.

Bedank Kaztor, aan jou dank ik mijn nummer 1 (Dusty Springfield)

Opvallend is dat klassiekers als "Machine gun" en "Jolene" van Dolly Parton niet verder gekomen zijn dan de tipparade, in dat laatste geval is dat zelfs twee keer gebeurd in hetzelfde jaar.

"Under the influence of love" is later gecoverd door "Kylie Minogue"en staat op de CD "Light years".

1974 heeft zijn eigen "Popcorn", namelijk "El bimbo" uitgevoerd door drie artiesten. De enige versie waarin gezongen werd en dus niet in zijn geheel instrumentaal is, is van "Bimbo jet"

De re-releases (Beatles, Elvis Presley) heb ik niet in de lijst opgenomen.

Ik had zelf een bijwerk-lijstje gemaakt door het Hitdossier-boek wat na te pluizen. Uiteindelijk raakte door een hele domme fout het bericht verloren...
