Voorheen waren de album charts van last-fm nogal dubieus. Maar wat ik nu zie ziet er voor mij redelijk betrouwbaar uit. De lijst bevatte nogal wat verrassingen voor mijzelf.

Geen idee waar ik die albumcharts vandaan moet toveren. Ik mag trouwens hopen dat het om het totaal aantal nummers gaat dat je per album hebt beluisterd, en niet het aantal keren dat je een album als geheel beluisterd hebt

Klopt, Graf. Bij mij klopt 'ie overigens niet helemaal, want enkele top-albums staan er helemaal niet in omdat het scrobblen van romaji-genoteerde tracks waar er ook kanji bestaat soms niet helemaal zuiver loopt...

W.b. het vinden van deze charts, gewoon bij één van je charts 'see more' o.i.d. klikken (volgens mij werkt de header ook), en dan in het charts drop-down menu (Show...) albums kiezen.

Reken maar uit hoeveel tijd het zou hebben gekost als je uit gaat van je tweede veronderstelling....ik heb ook nog een leven naast muziek luisteren

Het nadeel van het systeem dat hij telt hoevaak je nummers van het album hebt geluiserd, is dat albums met veel nummers relatief hoog komen te staan en albums met weinig nummers relatief laag.
En er bestaan ook genoeg albums met 1 (heel lang) nummer, die moet je wel heel veel draaien, wil dat album een beetje hoog komen.
Daartegenover staan dan weer zulke albums met heel veel korte nummers.

Ik vind die albumcharts nog steeds raar. Hangt ook wel af van de getagdheid van mijn albums.. Maargoed:
