Analyse (technisch):
- Geen songs van MFTM & ABF (vielen na zwaar hersenkraken net buiten de boot, wel in top 20)
- Hooguit één van SOFAD, echter wel bovenaan. Top tien is keuzes maken; Walking In My Shoes haalde het net niet...
- Maar liefst 4 van Violator, waarvan 3 in de top 5
- Opvallen hoge notering voor Here Is The House, waarmee ik enigszins afwijk van het gemiddelde

Analyse (inhoudelijk):
- Nummer 1 en 2 betreffen songs die vooral gaan over weemoed en teleurstelling en zijn de enige van DM die mij ooit tot tranen toe hebben ontroerd, vandaar die plek. (differentiatie tussen 1 en 2 geschiedde door fysieke meting van de inhoud van de waterplas onder mij. Bij In Your Room werd die plas bestaande uit traanvocht ook vermengd met danszweet, dus werd winnaar)
- Geen songs volledig gezongen door Gore. Met pijn in mijn hart moest ik The Things You Said net buiten de top houden.
- Geen ballads of anderszins "kleine" songs (uitzondering Here Is The House); mijn top 10 is muzikaal gezien dus redelijk bombastisch en dansbaar. Little 15 was grootste kanshebber..
- Geen pre- of post-Wilder songs, alle songs zijn met Alan Wilder. Hoogste notering van een song zonder Wilder: Leave In Silence, maar valt net buiten de top tien.

Nu al wijziging: Music For The Masses met stip gestegen naar plek drie van albums. Strangelove komt in de song top tien, ten koste van Lie To Me.

Waar komt die slechte ervaring door dan? Door Welcome to My World en Heaven werd ik fan van Depeche Mode. Delta Machine en Spirit zijn voor mij makkelijk 4 sterren waard.

Grappig Jeroen, delta machine is voor mij het minste depeche mode album, alsnog 3 sterren want dm is nooit "slecht"
