Echt gruwelijk moeilijk om een top 10 samen te stellen. Al het materiaal van Editors is tot nu toe extreem constant in de goede zin.

Behoort echt tot een van mijn favo nummers allertijden. De muziek geeft me speciaal gevoel en vind de tekst ook super mooi.

geweldige tekst en heerlijke bridge na 3:18.

2. All Sparks
Vind "The Back Room" het beste album. Met name All Sparks lijkt simpele pop, maar toen ik hem voor het eerst hoorde heb ik hem 2 dagen op repeat gezet. Goed basgitaarloopje, scheurende gitaar in het refrein en lage stem van Tom komt goed tot z'n recht

3. Munich
Deed me aan een jaren '80 U2 plaat denken en blijft een lekker nummer.

24 oktober lekker naar de ziggo, razend veel zin in.

Kennelijk niet hun beste nummer in optiek van MuMe. Ik kan me daar volledig in vinden.
Ook verschrikkelijk uitgemolken in allerlei dance versies etc.
Overigens is die nieuwe lange versie meer dan prima. Live is dat (momenteel) de perfecte afsluiter.

Live is het inderdaad de perfecte afsluiter, al speelden ze op het concert dat ik zag (Werchter 2013) Honesty er nog na. Van die dance versies heb ik weinig last, die hoor ik nooit. Al zag ik op de Ipod van een vriend wel eens dat er een remix van Papillon opstond maar het origineel niet, dat vond ik wel een beetje jammer.

Maar goed, Papillon is steeds een van de hoogtepunten van de set en iedereen gaat dan uit z'n dak, dus ik dacht dat het nummer dan ook vaak hoog zou staan hier. Maar misschien hebben grote Editors-fans andere favorieten, niets mis mee natuurlijk.
