Een nieuw jaar is ook een nieuw topic voor Maak kennis met Metal anno... !

Hierin gaan we op zoek naar de opvolger van het beste metalnummer van 2013 (Deafheaven - Dream House), 2014 (Deafheaven - From the Kettle onto the Coil), 2015 (My Dying Bride - And My Father Left Forever), 2016 (Zeal and Ardor - Come on Down), 2017 (Amenra - A Solitary Reign), 2018 (Fluisteraars - Oeverloos) en 2019 (White Ward - Love Exchange Failure).

Nog even de spelregels op een rijtje zetten voor mogelijke nieuwkomers:

Om de 2 dagen plaatst iemand een metalnummer dat de komende (minstens) 48 uur beoordeeld wordt op een schaal van 0 tot 10 (eventueel met toelichting). Degene die het volgende nummer plaatst, updatet ook het overzicht en berekent dus het stemgemiddelde van het vorige nummer.

Aan het eind van elke maand wordt dan de top 10 van het afgelopen jaar geplaatst en een nieuw overzicht geplaatst voor die maand.

Het nummer moet uit 2020 zijn ofwel door de singlerelease ofwel door de albumrelease. Een band mag ook maar 1 keer langskomen per jaar om de diversiteit te promoten.
