Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet heet eigenlijk 'Coda - Tom Waits with High strings' en is een nummer van Gavin Bryars van het gelijknamige album uit 1971. Als zodanig kon het dus ook niet meedoen aan deze KO lijkt mij

Is toch een bewerking van Coda?
In 1971 was alleen de opname van de zwerver, in 1975 de toevoeging van het orkest door Bryars, en in 1993 de toevoeging van Waits.
Maar ik snap de reden op zich wel, anders kon Adios Lounge met Thelonious Monster er ook wel bij.

Waits voegt gewoon altijd iets toe aan een nummer.

een van mijn favoriete waits nummers is ook het nummer waarop hij op de plaat 'Beautifull Mess' van Thelonious Monster het nummer Adios Lounge meezingt....

verder matige plaat, maar dat nummer wordt door Waits echt enorm erbovenuit geheven

een toppertje juist.
