Ik vind dit toch ook nog altijd wel een onvoorstelbaar legendarisch label hoor. Hoe totale nietsnutten als Daz, Kurupt en RBX daar tot grote hoogten reikten vind ik toch wel fascinerend.

Niet lastig die zin verkeerd te interpreteren.
Naja Gyzzz doelde met "nietsnutten" dus op de maatschappelijke waarde van Daz, Kurupt en RBX. En niet dat ze ondanks hun wacke skillz bij Deathrow toch wel succes kregen.

Met beide punten ben ik het dus helemaal NIET eens, wie geeft er nu een fuck om "de maatschappelijke waarde" van een iemand anders, ik bedoel daar kan ik echt niet tegen. En ja hun skillz zijn gewoon dope, Kurupt kan toch qua lyrics goed uit de hoek komen en Daz is qua producer zeker goed. En RBX heeft ze stem mee.

Als die gozer echt serieus meende over "de maatschappelijke waarde" zal hij nog veel keren "gefascineerd" toekijken naar welke artiesten er zover geraakt zijn.

Met maatschappelijke waarde heeft mijn opmerking niets te maken, en daarin ben ik dan ook helemaal niet geïnteresseerd.

Wat ik bedoel is dat zowel Daz, Kurupt als RBX buiten Death Row om amper fatsoenlijk werk hebben afgeleverd en vooral met elke cd dieper zinken, terwijl ze op alle Death Row klassiekers geniale bijdragen leveren. Met Dogg Food konden ze op zichzelf staan. Ook productioneel heeft Daz op Dogg Food, All Eyez On Me en de welbekende DR soundtracks geweldig werk afgeleverd.

RBX heeft zijn stem mee, en inderdaad, hij gebruikte die op geniale wijze op The Chronic en Doggystyle. Solo slaat het echter nergens op, en met dat specifieke talent dat jij noemt en dat hij zo goed gebruikte heeft hij nooit meer wat gedaan.
Kurupt heeft solo nog enkele redelijke dingen gemaakt, maar ook dat was niettemin een totale achteruitgang ten opzichte van zijn werk tussen '92 en '96. Maar goede lyrics..??
