Zoals ik bij MuMeladder top 2000 al geschreven had, ben ik bezig geweest met een 90's top 1000. Ik zou het leuk vinden als veel van de stemmers van de 'echte'MuMeLadder ook aan deze zouden willen meewerken...
Als zoveel mogelijk mensen een top 10 van de 90's aan willen vullen, dan graag!!! Controleer wel even of de platen/ singles in de 90's zijn uitgebracht en controleer ook even of ze al opgenomen zijn in de onderstaande lijsten. Leuk initiatief, maar bovenstaande shortlists zijn wat mij betreft nogal eenzijdig. De nadruk ligt zo wel erg op de standaard grunge en britpop, terwijl er zo veel meer is.

Precies wat ik dacht, maar in de free40 staan wel veel goede nummers...En daarom heb ik jullie dus nodig!!

Ik kon even geen andere manier bedenken om titels te vergaren...

Ik mis Tool hier bijvoorbeeld...

Hij had eerst een andere titel.. Nl. A Lover Spurned, dat is inmiddels veranderd...

Ik wil wel gaan meedoen uiteraard maar ik vrees wel een beetje voor overkill naast de 'grote MuMe-ladder' en de overlap is wel erg groot. Je kunt nu al voorspellen dat b.v. Teardrop van Massive Attack het hier dan ook goed moet gaan doen.

Of Radiohead... , maar er komt ook veel nieuws voorbij en toen ik eraan begon(met die top 40 nummers) had ik gehoopt op iets meer variatie (sowieso in de voorrondes), ook qua genres...

Ben benieuwd hoeveel platen van de top 40 overeind blijven!!

Ik vrees dat dat er niet van gaat komen gezien de users die ook meedoen aan de MuMe-ladder. Je krijgt dus als het ware een uitgedunde versie en laten we eerlijk zijn dat die top 40 hits voor spek en bonen gaan meedoen (dus dat is niet bepaald gelijkwaardige variatie en dus komen we toch wel weer uit bij de bekende namen).
Ook hoop ik dat beiden elkaar niet in de weg gaan zitten.
We zullen zien

Ik concentreer me in ieder geval op het origineel

zie de meerwaarde van een aparte jaren 90 ladder niet. De beste jaren 90 liedjes zijn ook uit de "originele ladder" te destileren. El Ninjo wil vast wel een lijstje maken

Ik hoef hier natuurlijk niet te chagrijnen, echter ben ik bang voor allerlei subladders en dat terwijl er juist vraag is naar meer variatie bij de originele ladder. laat de jaren 90 liefhebbers (of soul, hiphop, flower power of wat dan ook) zich dan wat meer roeren in de enige echte...dan wordt die lijst echt spannend, leuk. en afwisselend.

Dat waarderen we ook maar ik deel de mening van pretfrit wel.

Ik zie nu ook dat ik hier al een nummer heb toegevoegd die ik aan de grote broer ook wil toevoegen komend jaar.

Je weet nu gewoon al welke bands de top gaan halen zeker omdat ze hier nog minder concurrentie krijgen dan in de MuMe-ladder.

Je moet geen energie verspillen aan dit soort lijstjes op deze site.

Ze gaan alleen maar zeiken over wat ze missen, hoe goed je lijst ook is(wat ie niet is).

laten we de site ook maar opdoeken..veel te veel gezeik (en lijstjes)

Vind het wel een leuk idee, maar ik zie de meerwaarde van top 40 hits absoluut niet.

Ik doe in ieder geval graag mee. Ik ga eens bekijken welke songs ik in elk geval nog aan de ladder wil toevoegen.

edit : Nu ik al die top 40 hits zie vraag ik me toch af of dat wel zo'n goed idee is.
Als we dadelijk een ladder krijgen met daarin alleen nummers van 2 Unlimited, T-Spoon, 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor en Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo haken er misschien toch wel erg veel mensen af. Misschien kun je beter voor kwaliteit gaan dan voor kwantiteit ?

Ik vind het wel een leuk idee zo'n extra ladder, al moet er inderdaad geen overkill aan ladders op hetzelfde moment bezig zijn.
Het is misschien een idee om eerst uit te gaan van de ingezonden lijstjes, zo hebben de wat 'extremere' genres die normaal snel afvallen (metal, hardcore punk, hip-hop etc.) wat meer kans en houd je dankzij die diversiteit wat meer stemmers betrokken.
De top-40 inzending lijken mij meer 'cannonfodder', platen die er de eerste ronde al uitvallen en zo blijf je met maar een klein groepje echte kanshebbers over. Ga dan uit, buiten de user-inzendingen, van de favoriete nummers bij de beste albums uit deze periode volgens MuMe (top 250, jaarlijstjes, genrelijstes). Daarbuiten zou je nog genre specifieke-lijstjes die op het net zijn te vinden kunnen gebruiken .

Onweerwolf heeft heel veel werk gemaakt van het uitzoeken van de release jaren bij de nummers in de MuMeLadder Top 2000 ... staan in de Excel lijst die je kunt downloaden...daar zou je voor een eerste startlijst gebruik van kunnen maken.

Het is een leuk idee, maar waarom in godnaam die top40-hits inderdaad. Je kan beter uit de ladder van 2009 alle 90s nummers halen.

Die top 40 lijst heb ik gebruikt om, zoals ik al eerder schreef, meer verschil in genres te krijgen. Deze nummers zijn in die tijd namelijk erg populair geweest (anders halen ze niet de top 3) Misschien heb jezelf ook nog wel staan gabberen en denk je "toch wel een geinige tijd geweest". Het is ook een beetje om een sfeerbeeld te schetsen. Maar mijn doel is om 1280 nummers te vergaren, waardoor een groot aantal van die "zwakke" nummers zullen verdwijnen. Al kan de loting roet in het eten gooien, maar dat vind ik nou juist de charme hiervan. In die tijd was ik DJ en een aantal nummers vind ik wel leuk, maar het lijkt wel of het op deze site 'not done' is om op zulke nummers te stemmen.Toen we met de 'echte' Mumeladder begonnen stonden er in het begin ook heel andere nummers in. Naarmate de jaren zullen vorderen staan er helemaal geen slechte nummers meer bij. Mocht ik de 1280 niet halen kan ik altijd nog kijken in de onweerwolf-lijst.

Nja, ik snap wel waarom dingen als MC Hammer, Britney Spears en Charley Lownoise meedoen, dat zijn wel 90's iconen. Maar hebben we echt behoefte aan Linda, Roos en Jessica of Volumia?

En wat mij betreft is volledig random loting (zonder plaatsing) ook een van de grootste charmes van dit soort spelletjes. Maar ik sta daar meestal redelijk alleen in.

Klinkt alsof ik daar wel medestander van ben.

Verder heb ik ook nog wat reserves bij de selectie van Top 40 hits en bij het spelen van deze ladder naast de reguliere ladder... maar beginnen met een eigen inbreng kan nooit kwaad:

Erg leuk idee en ik ga ook zeker meedoen. Maar toen ik mijn lijstje van 10 nummers ging samenstellen miste ik toch echt heel veel mume-klassiekers als Neutral Milk Hotel, Pavement en 16 Horsepower.
