Nu ben ik ook geen fan van One en Pride, maar daar snap ik de aantrekkingskracht nog wel van. Stuck in a Moment echter is zo dodelijk saai, melodieloos en alles waar je verder nog geen fan van muziek van wordt. Ik vind het echt met afstand hun minste nummer.

Je trouwens nog wel een nummer 1 hit van hetzelfde album vergeten.

Twee bands met zo'n groot oeuvre dat reduceren tot een speellijst van 12 eigenlijk onmogelijk is
zonder favorieten te missen. Maar we schieten niet op de pianist en spelen met de opgegeven lijst.

Mijn waardering wijkt flink af van het gemiddelde, geloof ik. U2 is een band die flink in mijn achting is gedaald gedurende de jaren. Depeche Mode is stabiel gebleven en misschien zelfs wat gestegen in mijn achting. Bij de lijst van U2 steekt er 1 nummer met kop en schouders bovenuit. Bij de rest is het mij redelijk om het even, al vind ik hun meer recenter werk matiger. Bij Depeche Mode heeft Enjoy The Silence door herhaaldelijk horen op de radio veel van zijn glans verloren. Het blijft nog wel een zeer goed nummer, maar niet om veel punten van mij te krijgen.
