Actually, word is that before Eric B. & Rakim joined forces, Eric B. held auditions for the emcee spot. Legend has it that Bumpy got to the spot late and Ra ended up teaming with Eric B. The tension could quite possibly come from there. "I will eat Rakim's ass alive on any record, any stage," Bumpy Knuckles recently declared. "When I finish with him, every bit of legendary status he had is gonna go out the window. I swear on everything I stand on, I will eat that nigga alive, bar by bar. I'll tell him to his muthafuckin' face." Two questions, Foxxx: Why? And why now? Bumpy's gripe is arguably understandable, but 20 years late.

While Nas has been heralded as the second coming of Ra since he began buzzing in the early 90s, Bumpy reveals that the God actually wasn't too fond of the Queens lyricist. "Boom, I see doom / for all these Rakim fans in the motherfuckin room / Sorry for the let down, but here's a fact / Eric B. wanted Nas and Ra said he was wack / Jesus was black / so Nas you ain't God's son cause he won't do the track / I'm telling you fact."

Freddie foxxx( Bumpy Knuckles) is een rapper uit jaren 80 en deed dingen samen met Kool G Rap & DJ polo,BDP, KRS-One, Gang starr en was member van legendarische Flavor Unit Posse van Queen Latifah.Helaas heeft hij toen niet de kans gehad, omdat hij samen met Tim Dog 1 van de meest gehate rappers was.Doordat hij harde battle rhymes had diste hij net als Tim vele rappers en heeft hij lang moeten wachten tot zijn eerse echte album uitkwam.
Of hij Rakim kan dissen denk ik niet, omdat hij namelijk in de top 5 staat van beste battle mc's ooit.
