Daar heb je gelijk in. Outkast, Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik valt moeilijk mid 90's boombap te noemen maar albums als die van Rass Kass, Scarface, A Tribe Called Quest enz zullen wel in zijn straatje vallen. De sound van een aantal albums is anders maar het rijtje dat er staat zal iedere boombap liefhebber grotendeels waarderen
